Research based biotechnology company Pharmology Global, led by CEO Yang Jung-eun, announced on the 1st that it has registered a patent for its independently developed functional skin improvement material, “MINEXIN;α.”

This patent relates to a “composition for reducing inflammation, promoting wound regeneration, and strengthening the skin barrier, containing a mineral fermented complex extract as an active ingredient.” It was developed based on the company’s core technology, “Minexin Technology.”

“MINEXIN™” is a platform material that combines the concepts of minerals and vaccines. It is characterized by improving bioavailability by converting minerals, which typically have low absorption rates in the body, into low molecular weight and organic forms through a lactobacillus fermentation process.

MINEXIN Alpha, an expanded development material, is based on a mechanism that promotes the expression of regenerative factors that help damaged cells recover. The company stated, “It is a functional material that strengthens the skin cells’ self regeneration system,” adding, “It is expected to expand beyond the conventional cosmetics sector into the high performance biotechnology market, including quasi drug and therapeutic support materials.”

The head of Pharmology Global’s research institute said, “MINEXIN Alpha is not a single function ingredient, but a next generation regenerative new material capable of delivering multiple functions,” adding, “This patent registration recognizes our independent technological capabilities.”
